Lessons from ‘The Office’: “Crime Aid”

1. Always check which way to turn the volume knob to make the volume go down.

2. Never assume someone else is going to lock the door.

3. If something is worth talking about, make sure you talk about it. Twice.

4. Always be aware of the possibility of ‘butt dialing’ when your phone is in your back pocket.

5. Ultimatums don’t always work.

6. A hug is worth $1000.

7. Senior managers aren’t necessarily impressed when middle managers kiss other middle managers in front of them.
